Is it un-American to drive around in a small silly liberal car, like a Smartcar?

I think that if you drive a big American made Suburban or Escalade, you are more of an American than some liberal who drives around in a European Smartcar, or those silly little other cars that liberals all love.

  1. I think it is silly to spend $100 to fill up a Suburban or Escalade just to drop off the kids at school and go to the grocery store. But hey, if a few morons don't mind blowing $100/week for errands around town, what do I care.......
  2. Yep, don't come crying to me when you get your spine crushed in a fender bender with a bicycle in one of those homocars, libs!
  3. Well, those Smartcars would get squashed here with all the idiots driving Hummers. I don't think it makes you less American to drive one, but it may make people question your sexuality if you are a guy.
  4. Being American is all about striking a comprimise, it's your choice, you can drive a gas hog Hummer or a ugly car that looks like a nose.
  5. Its apparently un-American to defend the Constitution, too...well, at least according to the Republicans.
  6. LIVE IN YOUR OWN LITTLE WORLD THERE, SKIPPY...WE'LL LIVE IN THE REAL ONE!
  7. If you can afford the gas you can drive what ever car your little heart desires. Get a big rig if you want.
  8. For me, I would need 4 smart cars to take the family out. Maybe one would be good to go to work and back
  9. welli think people which drive a economy car have a lot more brain than you furthermore i dont know what this has to do being liberal you rightwing moron
  10. Herb now you're dragging the gutter with the trolling. Once you were original now just pathetic. And will you report me again?
  11. I agree. We need to stand up as American lovers of freedom and live in even more excess than we normally do.
  12. Nope, its the free markets doing their job. But to drive one and think you're better than those who drive/need large SUVs/Trucks is a touch irritating.
  13. Cars don't have political affiliations. People do. I am a staunch conservative and I drive a Prius. Why should I spend more on gas than is necessary? Anyone who buys a Smart will wish they hadn't. They are very popular in Europe, but after people have had one for a while they wish they never would have bought it. The Smart is always at the very bottom of the owner satisfaction and reliability polls in Europe. Women like them because they're "cute" and easy to park. Most men steer clear of them.
