Which car gets more miles to the gallon, Corolla, or Smartcar?
My 2003 Corolla gets 39MPG (I've counted them), will the smaller SMARTCAR get more than that? Why, or why not?

- Since the Smart is not even here yet, it's all speculation. Your mileage will vary...
- SMART CAR GOOD LUCK
- MPG depends on how you drive of course. But in general a lighter smaller car will be more economical. Your Corolla is a bigger more practical car, and yes it does use more fuel than a Smart, but you get more carrying capacity. Most economical of all are small diesel turbo cars, 50 to 60 mpg in everyday driving is easy. Try Peuguot 207 diesel, Golf Diesel, even BMW 120D, all will easily beat the Corolla and are much faster.
- I have wanted a Smart Car since before they came to the US and anxiously awaited their arrival. The irony is I am in CA (where all smart cars sold in the US are converted) and they are not legal here yet but the town I grew up in, in PA has a dealership. Check it out http://www.ferrantemotorcars.com/smart%20Car.htm turn off your speakers though because they have really annoying music that plays while you visit the site.
