Hybrid Truck question?
Okay so I am about to be 17 this Christmas. I just got my permit 2 weeks ago and I am thinking about car options. I want a truck. I do not know why but they just appel to me. My girlfriend lives in Chatt. and right now I only get to see her once every four weeks. I need a truck that is good with Hwys and the Interstates. If you could give me info on a hybrid I would really appreciate it because gas prices are way too high for me to afford. The most information will get best answer. Oh and if you could find a nice Crimson color hybrid truck I would really appreciate it. Last thing, please make sure that the safety features meet automobile standards. Thank you.

- Hybrids' main advantages are in city driving, not highway. You need the braking to recharge the batteries. On the highway you are eventually just driving on the somewhat underpowered gasoline engine anyway.
- You need a Diesel, it uses half the fuel of a Petrol (Gasoline) powered truck.
- yes hybrids are only good for city driving i have a Mitsubishi montero sport limited and it is very safe and comfortable it is a 7 seat-er which is big and it is built on a car frame which makes it safe and comfortable with the luxury of feeling like a car but driving a truck and it is only a 6 cylinder which makes it very good on gas also they are very affordable i got mine used for 18k not bad it looks brand new.
- you need to buy that new smart car 2 seater when it hits the market pretty soon, it gets 50+ miles to the gallon.
