Will the Smart Fortwo offered in the US have cruise control as an option?

The Smart Fortwo ultra small car will be offered in the US in 2008 through dealerships in the Penske automotive group. Will these cars have cruise control as an option? It's not listed on their website anywhere (http://www.smartusa.com/ ).

Look at how big it is. If you actually paid attention to the site you recommended you would have all the info you need . Come on! You are in an enclosed wheelchair. Where the h@#$^ do you expect to drive this thing that you need cruise? At the shopping mall? I wouldn`t want to hit a shopping cart in that thing let alone be on the highway. If you are that lazy , Why not buy a real car at least? Can`t wait till you have to figure out how to refill the windshield washer. Especially in the winter. Go to the cottage in this thing. Pack your tooth brush and a change of clothes. Don`t plan on bringing the dog or anything else. It was designed as a city car. You would be lucky to get ac on the 3 cyl.1000 cc diesel motor,and still be able to drive it. Get real
The new model (451) smart Fortwo will not have cruise control.
