Is there a fuel efficient car with lots of leg room?

I'm looking for a new (used) car, and I'd like to be environmentally conscious while cramping my long legs as little as possible. Any suggestions?

If money is not an issue, you should go for the Lexus RX400H. It has 2 electric engines and a petrol engine, it has the gas mileage of a Honda Accord, in town it's actually pollutant free and it does 7.6 seconds from 0-60mph. All this while taking on the form of the elegant Lexus RX SUV. The downside, as I said, is the price. Although, my cousin bought one and is very-very satisfied with it. Good Luck!
look for a taurus or grand prix
Scion xB has TONS of room and gets great gas mileage.
Chrysler PT Cruiser has the best interior space along with great GAS mileage. AT a very reasonable price.
