where can i find a smart fortwo pure for under $15,000?

i have been looking everywhere for a used or new smart fortwo, but if i get a new one for 11,590 i have to get on a waiting list, and if i chose to buy a used one people jack up the prices to nearly 30 grand. i need a cheap new or used one soon, so can someone point me in the direction of a good deal on one, i live in lafayette louisiana but i planned on getting one from houston texas.
