How much do ENERGY EFFICIANT cars cost? [you know those tiny little hybrids] "?????????????"?

They are so funny looking! But at the same time so AMAZING! I want one on the side --- It would be fun to see more of those on the road IE: http://www.altenergystation.com/images/smartcar.jpg

1. actually i read an article in which when calculating overall cost, a prius cost more per mile than a hummer! open your eyes america
2. your post is not of a hybrid, its an over priced mart car. people are paying more than its worth because its green. You can buy just as good cars from GM, toyota, and others.
3. http://www.smartusa.com/ markets them. http://www.smartusa.com/smart-usa-find-a-dealer.aspx is supposed to let you find a dealer near you. Most tiny little hybrids cost a bit more because they have big batteries inside, and a big electric motor-generator. Presumably, you would make it up in lower energy (gas) prices ever-after; which makes energy efficient cars a good purchase if you have access to cheap capital (low interest rates). Smart was offering from-the-street test drives in major cities (like mine) but I do not know if they still have such a tour going.
