Would it be wise to invest in Penske Automotive who is releasing the Smart car now?

I researched the Smart car and found out that Penske Automotive owns it. I would imagine this might have a certain degree of success considering gas prices.

1. Dailmer Chysler makes the smart car Penske has the rights to sell it. The cost of creating a new dealership to sell one type of car?. It might be good, I will pass on it.
2. I know in Italy smart cars are very popular because the pay almost 9$ / gallon . In the US , we will probably see some of them , not in the near future . Sadly I still see lots of Chevy Tahoe and big 8 cylinder . The transition will be very slow .
3. The car was developed by Mercedes and SWATCH, the watch makers! It's actually a very safe car with a built in safety cage for accidents plus airbags. I think if they keep the prices low it will be a big success.
