smart car owners, sales people or mechanics?

Please can you tell me how often does a smart car need to be serviced and what dies it cost. Also what MPG will i get on the motorway 70-80mph.... thanks

1. About the same as every other Mercdes ... $$$$$$$. MPG probably around high 40s, low-mid fifties on the freeway. Ok cars, but not practical. Not even in Europe.
2. the smart was stated to max milage at aprx 40 miles per gallon but as with all cars we never get this in real world driving! expect 35 miles per gallon at a steady cruise controlled 70 miles per hour. faster will decrease the number, slower will increase it but get you run over and cussed at. combinned milage I believe was a respectable 28 or so I think. I read up on this car wanting to compair it to my Honda Fit model. our milage was similar and my fit was more stable in traffic.
