Anyone know information on Smart Cars? Please help me?

I recently brought the smart car passion cabriolet edition and ive noticed a couple things about the smart car. One thing that i noticed is that its a semi-automatic and it feels like im driving a stickshift..i wanted to change this about the car and i dont really know if i can...please help? and also, another thing is that my car is the convertible, and when the top is down, its hard to view the cars behind me from my mirror, is there a way where i can fix my convertible such that i can see through my mirror comfortably? whoever knows about cars please help me because this is something i really want done...and if theres any websites you guys might know where i can fix my smart car up? thanks!

The Smart’s transmission is not a traditional five-speed automatic, it’s an automated manual that’s similar to a manual transmission but is driven like an automatic, meaning there’s no clutch pedal. It can be driven in either a fully automatic drive mode or a manual mode.
